                                                                       Mini - Stage Babes

Picture
Stage Babes is for 3-5 year olds and focuses on Drama and movement for 45 minutes on a Saturday from 10.30-11.15am at Trinity Hall, Rushams Road, Horsham

This is the age where children have come out of parallel play and have moved into the world of creativity and make believe, so what better way to explore that than through Drama and Movement with other children.

For the winter term the fees are:
£55 for 11 weeks

Please contact me at info@performing4u.co.uk or on 01403 260711  / 07702 730326 if you would like to book a space as there are  15 spaces per class

Stage Babes runs for a term at a time and children need to sign up for the whole term, this is because we build on the learning each week and do a small  performance at the end of each 10-11 week term.

Each term looks at a new topic (which is announced on our news page) and encourages the children to:

    > Work with others
    > Build on and develop their confidence
    > Have fun whilst doing it!

The elements of drama, such as costumes, music and make-up are explored as are some of the more basic strategies used in drama. Children are encouraged to understand why different choices  should be made for characterisation and how to explore emotions as well as being  encouraged to use their imaginations and develop  language.

Every child will work at their own pace!

The movement element in this youth theatre does not refer to dancing (although I'm sure we will at times!) but to learn about the use of space and effective body language.

Parents stay to the first few classes until their child feels happy and confident.
